How to Invent a Fitness Product

If you are wondering how to invent a new product, but worry that it will take too much time, be too difficult, or cost too much money there are ways to prevent these situations. At the same time, new product development is something that is uncertain. It is quite a risk, much like everything in business. No company or invention can guarantee success. So when you are thinking about how to invent a new product, there are plenty of factors to consider.

For one, companies continue to be more innovative. Therefore, there are people coming up with new invention ideas every day and they are making prototypes as you think about how to invent your idea. That is why it is important to do research and make sure your invention idea is not already on the market. Even if there is a product like the one you came up with, there is always a demand for new or improved products from corporations or individuals with new product ideas.  These products should either solve a problem or improve something and be able to fit in with a certain company’s product line.

For example, if you are thinking about inventing a new fitness product, one of the newest products to recently come out is the Tech-Desk. Instead of spending hours sitting at a desk job and then coming home and spending more time on your laptop sitting down, try out the tech-desk. These desks offer you the ability to stand up while providing a stable working environment for your laptop. Some of these models even offer the capability of fitting over a treadmill. Many models are spacious and have plenty of desktop space to not just have a laptop on it, but also to have working space. The tech-desk promotes better body ergonomics and encourages positive fitness and circulation.

Jumping Stilts are for the extreme sports lovers. They are much like sheetrock stilts, however, they bounce. Jumping stilts are a relatively new invention. Exercise enthusiasts use them to perform tricks as well as workout. They can be used to bounce, flip, jog and do other fun activities. These are great for lower body workout and will have your legs and buns in fantastic shape in no time.

While kettle bells have been around for generations in various counties, it was only recently that these hit the market widespread. The new inventions of these bells are more user friendly with grips and plastic coating. Kettle bells are the new version for weight training. These are great for people looking for a weight lifting workout, but do not want the amount of space taken up by a weight bench, bars and weights. Kettle bells fit neatly in closets and under some beds.

Imagine taking an elliptical and merging it with a bicycle. The Street Strider is also known as a Stepper Bike. The Stepper Bike uses the motion of a stepper or elliptical to peddle the bike. Not only do you step with it, but the arms push the handles like an elliptical. There is no seat on it. You steer by leaning, which strengthens your core muscles. You can imagine the total body workout you can get with this bike. In fact, you can burn up to 1000 calories per hour. There is a vast difference in calorie-burning ability compared to a regular bicycle. If that isn't enough reason to try one out, think of the gas you will save from being able to ride to work instead of drive.

The Moore Trainer Resistance Bands is for athletes and non-athletes with its sport performance technology. The Moore Trainer resistance bands are designed to pump up the volume of workouts without any unwanted pressure on someone’s back, knee and ankle joints. These bands wrap around the legs.

Everyone knows what a stability ball is in aerobics class. Recently, there have been additional uses to the ball. Now there are office chairs with built in stability balls instead of a traditional seat. The idea is to promote muscle strength, circulation, ergonomically sound positioning while preventing muscle fatigue and hemorrhoids. These new chairs bring fitness to the office. With this, you can work and work out while being paid for doing both at the same time.

When figuring out how to invent your product, you may face some obstacles along the way. This can cause you to lose time, energy and money in trying to get off the ground with a product, especially if you do not know how to invent on your own.  If you face any obstacles or are having a hard time inventing a product alone, keep in mind that there are inventing companies that can help.  One of the biggest obstacles most inventors must overcome when pursuing an idea is being willing to trust someone with their idea.  Make sure to do your research and choose an inventing company that has experience with developing products and getting them on store shelves.  Also make sure that the company will sign a Confidentiality Agreement to ensure that your idea is safe.

What People Want in A Dental Care Invention

Inventions are a dime a dozen. Good inventions, however, are priceless. Many of the recent dental care inventions are good sellers because they meet the needs of those using them. So what is it that people want from a dental care invention? The following are the aspects of dental care inventions that are most important to consumers.

1. EASY TO USE. First consumers don't want to acquire a degree in dentistry to be able to correctly use your product. They need to know that it is an item they can use simply by reading through the instructions. Making a simple product will help increase sales as well as the value of your invention to consumers.

2. MULTI-USE. These days’ people are looking to get value for their money. This means that the more ways they can use your product the better. Creating a dental care invention that cleans teeth and polishes teeth as well, will make it more saleable. Consumers want to get the most for their money and making a product that meets more than one need will make it more attractive.

3. TRUE TO ITS CLAIMS. There is nothing that consumers like less than being misled. It is for this reason that you need to make sure that your product lives up to your customers' expectations. The best way to do this is not only by vigorous testing but truthful advertising.

4. SOMETHING THAT WORKS TO IMPROVE DENTAL HEALTH. Whitening products are great but most people want a product that gets results. This means one that dentists are willing to support. Make sure that whatever you are offering up as a product is one that dentists are willing to get behind. Remember if 9 out of 10 dentists support something consumers are more likely to buy it.

5. PRICE. The bottom line in the current economy is price. But price is not everything. Value is another key to selling success. So make sure that your product is not only useful but reasonably priced for the target demographic. This will help to increase sales and from there the sky's the limit.

Dental Care inventions can be useful and practical. As with all inventions, it is best to always try and think like a consumer. What is it that you would want from a product of this nature? Where do you see a need that is left unmet in the Dental Care industry? Thinking like both a consumer and an inventor will help you to create winning products time and time again.

Most Important Health and Beauty Inventions

Health and Beauty inventions have become widely used in nearly everyone’s home across the world.

Of one of the most important beauty inventions is the hair dryer. How could we have ever lived without one of these? The genius man, Alexander F. Godefoy created this amazing model in France in 1890. Since 1890, we have obviously improved the way the hair dryer works as well as the way it looks and feels.

Another great invention to world of health and beauty has been the weight scale. Everyone wants to look and feel his or her best.  In order to know whether you are hitting your goal weight, one most likely will use a scale to measure his or her weight. The scale dates way back to the Egyptian times in which they used a very basic type scale to measure gold. Since that time, we now have the digital era of scales. It really is an amazing invention, even though some days we don’t’ care to see what the number reads back to us.

Do the above inventions spark any additional thoughts to what might be your next adventurous creation? Write a few of your ideas down. While you are still imagining your next big design, let’s have a look at a few more important health and beauty discoveries that have changed the way we live.

A huge breakthrough in the health and beauty world has been the discovery of lotions and moisturizers. As we continue to find new and exciting ways to incorporate different plant bases, the lotion and moisturizer companies will continue to satisfy their customers’ needs to fight age lines, cellulite, and dry skin. Lotion and Moisturizers have been around for centuries. They were first made from animal fats and oils and plant oils such as aloe vera and olive oil. In the last 150 years we have been able to open a jar and slather it on our bodies.

In addition to the invention of lotion and moisturizers, a life-saving and definite life changing invention has been the invention of sunscreen. There is a little controversy as to who actually invented sunscreen and when. However, as indicated by http://www.sun-protection-and-products-guide.com, sunscreen was created by an Australian scientist Franz Greiter. Greiter was the first to introduce his viable sun protection cream. Greiter was also responsible for coming up with the Sun Protection Rating Factor or SPF rating that has become the worldwide standard for measuring the effectiveness of sunscreen.

Most people do not give their toothbrush a second look after using it morning and evening. The toothbrush is a life changing health and beauty invention that not only makes us look and feel better about ourselves, but is a way to maintain our health as well. According to the Library of Congress, loc.gov, the toothbrush as we know it today was invented in 1938 Dupont de Nemours.

An additional brilliant creation is the invention of hair dye. This is obviously not for one’s health, but the invention of hair dye has played a massive role in the world of beauty products. The Hair Book Online, www.thehairbookonline.com discusses that we actually started using hair dye from plant sources dated back to the Egyptian times. The French Chemist, Eugene Schueller first invented synthetic hair dye in 1907. It has since been modified and used widely by both men and women throughout the world.

When you think of all the amazing inventions in the health and beauty world, it is hard not to think of what we would do without those items. I have listed only very small, yet important inventions that have changed the way people live and yet, how could we ever live without the hair dryer, the weight scale, lotions and moisturizers, sunscreen, the toothbrush, and of course hair dye. The inventors of each of the products may have stumbled upon them by accident or may have sought out to make the item in which you may use every day.
